We were at the end of our Panama/Costa Rica trip and had actually just decided to cut it short because I was starting to feel sick. But we had this last hike to try out and I was just hoping both that I would feel well enough and also that our car would be able to make it back on the very steep gravel road back from the parking spot (after almost getting stuck around Monteverde earlier on the trip). As we’ve been getting used to we were first to arrive so we had this awesome place completely to ourselves for a little while in the morning before other tourists started to drop in. "Spotless room on the highest floor, so no noise from the restaurant. Beautiful pool and lovely terrace restaurant. Was a little overwhelming arriving into the town, being harassed by people wanting you to park in their area, but once at the hotel we were treated very well. Easy walk to the beach, but preferred to stay at the hotel with no vendors bothering us."
