"I just got back from a stay at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica, and honestly, it was such a great trip. The resort is beautiful — it’s right on a black sand beach, which was really cool and made the whole place feel unique. Our room was super spacious and comfortable, and the pool area was perfect: big, clean, and a great place to relax. But what really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were incredible across the board. Our butler, Henry, was awesome. He was super friendly and helpful, always checking in and making sure everything ran smoothly. He handled all our dinner reservations and just made things really easy, which let us actually relax and enjoy the trip. At the Star Class pool, we were lucky to have Yearly taking care of us. He was amazing — always one step ahead, bringing us towels, moving umbrellas when the sun shifted, even covering up my kids when it started to rain. You could tell he genuinely cared, and that made a big difference. We also had Samuel as our waiter at one of the cabanas, and he was fantastic too. Always around when we needed something, super attentive, and just really good at what he does. Everyone we met at the resort was friendly, welcoming, and professional. You can tell they care about creating a great experience for guests. Overall, I loved my time at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica. The setting is gorgeous, the rooms and amenities are great, but the staff is what really made the trip "

"We would definitely stay here again! We had the superior king room. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of outlets. Had one outlet in the restroom I had to use for everything. The two in the bedroom were too complicated to access. Not a complaint- just something to note. Absolutely loved the bathroom window. I would open it each morning to listen to the birds 😊 The included breakfast was delicious! We had the Costa Rican breakfast each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

"I stayed at an all-inclusive resort that delivered an exceptional vacation experience, marked by top-tier service and warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always greeting us with a smile and attending promptly to any requests. The food was another highlight — a diverse selection of freshly prepared meals at the buffet, with options ranging from local specialties to international cuisine. Chef Jiminez is truly talented and came out to greet its guests. The resort’s location couldn’t have been better — just steps away from the ocean, offering stunning views and easy access to the beach. Mornings were perfect for peaceful strolls along the shore, while afternoons were packed with fun (kayaks/swimming/jetski rental). Activities for all ages included board games, billiard, ping pong, obstacle course on the tree, 2 huge swings, bonfire. This resort is great for families, couples, elderly and solo travelers. One area where the resort could use some improvement is its infrastructure. While everything was clean and well-maintained, some buildings and common areas felt a bit dated and in need of renovation. A few minor repairs and upgrades to facilities like the pool deck and gym would elevate the overall experience significantly. Will definitely come back!"

"I thought this property was great! All the staff were very friendly & helpful. The food was good as well! It was perfect for our honeymoon. Iñake with Costa Rica unique experience was great! We booked three tours through them & it was amazing!! The location is a bit secluded, but if you’re looking for a quiet spot this is great! There’s a few great restaurants nearby."

"Amazing resort! It offers many different activities from horseback riding and hiking to waterfalls to hot springs and spa treatments. The environment is like an upscale ranch, rooms are spacious and ofter garden patio area and views of the surrounding forest, with many birds fluttering around. Nice big breakfast buffet, lots of seating and dining options. "
