Staff were welcoming and friendly. Very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay. Susie was especially helpful and knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfortable. Facilities were excellent. Lovely area. Handy to catch bus into town. We lived Canterbury and had an amazing tour of the cathedral.

Lovely stay 5*
The rooms were comfortable and clean. Although slightly noisy with fellow occupiers getting an early start in the mornings, but that’s part and parcel. Our breakfasts were in the pub, and it was good quality. Friendly service too! Would definitely stay there again.

The bathroom was freezing and the heated towel rail was not working. In the morning we realised we might have needrd to glick a seitch but t here was no switch telling us to do this.

Stay was very good, property was very nice, room was lovely but beds were bit small for my 6ft 2inch boy. Surrounding were good, breakfast was lovely, dinner was very nice, staff were very nice and helpful. Parking was lovely no hassle at all. I recommend every to visit and experience the atmosphere .

Amazing staff
almost everything was excellent apart from the comfort of the beds, we found them very hard and uncomfortable. The staff, on the other hand were excellent especially Jessie, she was amazing.

Charming inn and great value.
Great food, comfortable well equipped room in a charming pub/inn. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful setting. Great service. Great value. I highly recommend this inn.

We spent one night and will likely return. The rooms are a tad small, we but loved the place. Super easy and free parking. The staff are all so friendly. The pub was awesome and the free breakfast was made to order and very delicious!

Away for work
Accomodation block is not connected to pub (which is a good thing). I had room 15 on 1st floor, which was big as was ensuite bathroom. Roof windows did not have any blinds which was an issue in the summer. Wifi was not good. Breakfast (included in the price) was great (I had the cooked breakfast) and there was a large choice but it took a while to arrive after ordering. Also the breakfast is advertised as being served from 0700 but the first slot you could have was 0715, which made me a bit late for my appointment nearby.

Dejligt sted lidt udenfor Canterbury
Evenhill er en pub, hvor værelserne er placeret i rolige omgivelser lidt bag pubben med gode parkeringsforhold. Værelserne har god størrelse og indeholder alt det nødvendige. Morgenmad er helt i top, og den bestilles fra menu kort, og har høj kvalitet uanset hvad man bestiller. Er vejret godt er der masser af borde og stole udenfor, så man kan nyde omgivelserne.

Wunderbares Hotel mit Pub und Restaurant
Wir hatten hier übernachtet, bevor wir mit der Fähre zurück aufs Festland fuhren. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und wir empfehlen das 'The Evenhill' gerne weiter. Sehr gutes Essen im Pub und im Restaurant! Das Frühstück wird nach individuellen Wünschen frisch zubereitet. Unser Zimmer mit Bad war sehr komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Danke an das tolle Team von 'The Evenhill'!

Nice Stay
Nice stay in a conveniently located village on the outskirts of Canterbury. Good clean room with the added bonus of air-con during the hot few days we stayed. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Overall it was as expected and we would recommend.

For once we travelled to Kent without our car but the Evenhill is easy to reach by bus or taxi from Canterbury. There are great cross country walks in all directions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was fine and breakfast provided a good choice.

The room was beautiful, we were allocated a room large enough to maneuver my wheelchair. There was a coffee machine as well as tea-making facilities. We were offered fresh milk on arrival. Parking was easy and our car was outside our room. We found the staff team very helpful, friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed breakfast.
