"The Place is near to the sea and right next to a bus station. There is a good restaurant and a few lilttle bars aswell. Lorenzo is really a nice host and he cares about. The breakfast he made was one of the best i had after 8 weeks of travelling. In general he let you feel very welcome and is easy to talk to. The Room and bathroom is very nice and clean. "Convenient location to reach beach, restaurants and shopping as well as the ferry terminal and train. All walkable. Room was spacious. Shower was great! Breakfast was very good. Hotel staff was excellent. We didn’t like the immediate area outside the hotel which was dirty, garbage, etc. The “sea view” room we reserved didn’t have a great view due to construction. More a view of an adjacent parking lot."

"Villa Pulejo is a restored mansion that is beautifully manicured and very nice rooms. They are across the highway from the ocean but you can see it from your room. They have a very good buffet breakfast each day with a variety of items. We used their pool which was also convenient and a great amenity. The Villa seems very popular for weddings in addition to being a hotel. We were about 15 minutes from downtown Messina and the best way to get there was by taxi or car rental."

"It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel; it is very clean and well-organised. The breakfast was fantastic, all fresh products; one thing that really stood out to us was the honeycomb at the buffet, dripping with delicious fresh honey. All the staff; from the dining room to the reception were truly kind and friendly, especially Giovanni, Benedetto, Sonia and Chiara! We will definitely be back and highly recommend it, as we had such a wonderful experience."

Only saw staff when booked in and on the off chance on our last day. Place felt good of all hotel reps although room was cleaned while we out each day. Lovely eateries nearby and beaches are walking distance."
