「A lovely property in a secluded part of the Royal golf course. Suites were perfect- clean, comfortable and well appointed. The pool was great and the location calm and relaxing.
Service in the restaurant (due to one particular member of staff) was poor but it’s apparently owned by another company. Breakfast was ok but could have been much better. Despite this, I’d definitely stay again.」
"I stayed on the 2nd floor for four nights in a room with partial sea views.
**Pros:**
- Friendly and helpful front desk and restaurant staffs.
- Clean, well-equipped room.
**Cons:**
- Significant noise issues from the street made it hard to relax, with traffic and construction sounds permeating the room.
- Loud banging noises from the room above or nearby, likely from furniture movement, were particularly disruptive at night.
- While the hotel staff kindly provided me with earplugs to help mitigate the noise, wearing them all night was uncomfortable. Removing them meant enduring constant disturbances, which severely impacted my ability to rest.
I understand the hotel can't control street noise, but they could improve soundproofing, especially the windows. "
