We booked a 2 bedrooms room. The family room and kitchen are very big and has everything we need. Also have Washer and dryer. The view is excellent. We watched sunrise over the mountains. The mountains turns gold. We also enjoyed the hot tubs and steam bath. Very reflex. My husband dropped his phone on the ground outside the first floor. The staff help him to get the phone back. Really a great lodge in Canmore. It’s a bit farther from the ski resort, but the price and the environment make it absolutely worth it.

Very nice, spacious and clean room with great mountain views and a huge deck. Only complaint is that both heat and cool settings seemed to heat the room so when it hit 26C I turned off the system entirely and just opened windows to maintain a decent temperature. Front desk staff were very friendly and the Wild Orchid restaurant is great as well.

Where to begin… At check in we arrived at 3:48 for a 4 pm check in to find the room was not ready, not a huge deal but a foreboding of what was to come. I asked the check in associate for a room on any floor except the first floor, he informed mecther were no other rooms available except that floor, I said something about it being my wife’s birthday and she will be upset, his response “I guess someone has to be” I wasn’t entirely sure what that meant, so I let it go. We completed the usual forms and received our keys. We waited until 4 pm and went to our room. Kitchen was nice and big, a lovely sitting area and very large bathroom. Here was the surprise, the bedroom was 8 feet wide, there was a bed that appeared to be a double. The space on each side of the bed was less than a foot, you had to turn sideways and shuffle to actually get into the bed. Next let’s talk about the shower Once running, the water pooled in the shower draining extremely slowly The shower head was attached to the wall, however you had to hold it in place manually as it would fall down facing the floor otherwise That is why I gave a one star As well, I messaged the property last night at 9 pm, not wanting to deal with the rather rude front desk associate. That was now 22 hours ago with no response. Lastly, based on the parking lot, the hotel was nowhere near fully booked, so I am doubtful that there weren’t actually rooms available on another floor.

Staff just ok upon arrival and seemed to speed through everything even though there wasnt anyone else checking in. Girl at the counter was playing a game on her cell phone. Bed was old and tired. Heat couldnt be adjused in the room. We even turned it off for the entire night in January and the room stayed above 23 degrees. Left 4 windows open as long as possible to cool it off but had to close them at night as the highway was soo loud. We requested a moumtain view 2 months ahead and an upper floor and didnt get either.

Chambre propre et personnel courtois. Stationnement intérieur avec code. Pas très loin du centre pour aller dans les restaurant. Petit bémol, le chauffage est trop élevé et aucun contrôle dans la chambre. Comme le train ne passe pas très loin, pas évident dormir la fenêtre ouverte (le train passe tard et qq fois) .
