More activity for the kids, especially along the beach. Something like Soccer volleyball didn’t include kids was 11 years old. They didn’t session for the same age. At least I was in the other resort they have more activity for the kids.

The staff are sincerely amazing this is a very large resort that has hundreds of staff that seriously make me feel like family and are very helpful, polite and professional! The food is excellent especially if you choose the pyramid package which i absolutely recommend and even better is the Sian Kaan package this level gives you access to even more that this amazing resort has to offer it is truly an OASIS I even went as far to say yesterday its like heavem on earth for me anyways lol but seriously you can have it all great food great drinks beautiful gardens and real peacocks roaming around you like they are your personal pets the grounds are immaculately manicured the beach offers amazing swimming and sunrise 🌅 photo opportunities that are truly world class, you can party hard at the beach club and i mean PARTY or chill on a cabana bed in the queit zone go to the world class spa and the shows and evening entertainment is amazing so much diversity and action its hard to keep up but the oasis app is very helpful and can keep you up to date and on schedule if your wanting to maximize your experience! I have been coming to cancun for decades and stayed all over the yucatan and this is a gem a truly amazing place that i will absolutely be returning to in the future and highly recommend it to everyone coming to cancun!

That staff are what makes this resort OUTSTANDING! They are kind, polite and truly go above and beyond to make thier geusts happy. Dont go during spring break haha 😆 we caught the begging at the end of our trip. Its choas with them but true paradise when they're not there lol TONS of food options, coffe shops and ice cream shops. A few gift stores/shops. The pool is HUGE and spans across the middle of the whole property. There is also a little cigar lounge my hubby loved. There is a 711 store practically across the street definitely in walking distance. The mall is a 10 min uber away La Isla. And cocobongo and senior frogs is roughly a 20 min ride acroos from there, there us a really big street market.

The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the iguanas and peacocks. Our rooom was clean, but we were not thrilled when they ran out of water for 2 hours. - Couldn’t shower before we went out for the night. Family pool area was mostly clean. Swim up bar pool was disgusting…we avoided it. I understand that it was spring break, but I didn’t see people cleaning outside as often as I would have liked when I saw cigarette butts, cups in the bushes, and tissues in the pool multiple times throughout the week.

The shows in the atrium were spectacular and added to the fun! The restraunts were beautiful and luxurious, food equally as excellent. The room was quite broken in some areas like the shower and faucets. Water was turned off 2 times for a duration of multiple hours during our stay. The hotel was VERY loud all through the night even with ear plugs, sleep music, closed doors and fan running. Many sleepless nights , and on travel days it was unbearable to get ZERO rest . I did much research into this property because my stay was during spring break and wanted family fun and safety. Thenotes i read online ensured me of this, but alas the resort section for "family friendly" had very aggresive young men shouting like dogs all through the day and night into the early morning, very , very drunk. My 12 year old daughter was very uncomfortable with this and because of this i will not stay again.

This place was a huge disappointment. The staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful, which immediately set a negative tone for our stay. The food is not good at all—bland, poorly prepared, and definitely not worth it. The pool area is run down and not well maintained, making it far from enjoyable. To top it off, the drinks were just as bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Not enough lounge chairs in beach area. Sufficient near pools but paid $200 US for 5 people for one day in addition to hotel charges. Too much when other hotels offer same amenities at no additional charge. Seemed you had to pay additional rates for amenities at this hotel. Also, very loud 12-4AM with no staff trying to quiet people down. Pyramid design also means when someone in a floor above tosses a bottle off balcony it will end up in lower floors balcony. Happened at least twice.

Evening shows at the Atrium were spectacular! One extra large swimming pool was very nice. However, could not get a lounge chair by the pool due to so many people. TV mostly all in Spanish! Could not sleep the first night due to drunk people fighting outside my room. I called operator to send security but nothing happened. Finally went to sleep at 2am. Air conditioner not working for the whole stay....too cold and it took 2 hours to finally get a blanket. Second night a maintenance took over half an hour to dismount unit but it still did not work properly.Operator stopped answering my call for a blanket once I called that I still had not received one. Could not get most reservations for dinner because they were full. I only was able to make one reservation at the Japanese restaurant (Sakura) I had to walk long distances for restaurants or events. Staff not very friendly.

The ocean is visible from every ocean front romm which i stayed in its truly ocean front resort with an incredible staff ❤️ 👏 💙 they make you feel like family its safe diverse and extremely fun

Review by 43 year old vegetarian American woman, Michigan, USA. Couples trip, middle of winter, end of February). Why The Pyramid? After reviewing over 50 resorts on The Hotel Zone, I chose The Pyramid because of long Hotel front on beach, long winding pool throughout property, lots of specialty restaurants and buffets, and I wanted an exciting night life/shows/performances. I got all of this! If you are on spring break and partying, you probably don't need to pay extra for The Pyramid and will likely eat at buffets and outdoor burgers/pizza etc. If you want the slower, more formal dining experience, definitely pay extra for the Pyramid access to more restaurants. I personally cannot eat at buffets every meal. Staff attitude and tipping: I was so scared from reading all the reviews that the staff would not be nice. But honestly, everyone was so nice and appreciative, and I never felt anyone waiting for a tip or asking for one. I personally felt compelled to leave a tip at the sit down restaurants because they were clearly working so hard and trying their best. My husband and I speak some Spanish, and speaking in Spanish greatly enhanced our experience. Try saying Buenos Dias, Buenos Tardes, etc. It goes a long way. But the pace here is much slower than the USA. In the US, it's "Do more, do it faster." In Mexico, it's "Do Less, do it slower " No one is in a rush and you need to expect everything to take longer and go slower. I wish I brought extra tip money.

Amazing shows at night! The fire one was my favorite! Loved the live bands too!
The pools were amazing! Make sure you grab your pool chair before 8am or you are SOL.

I had read many reviews before leaving and decided I’d go in with my own thoughts. This could have been a way better experience without the bazillion spring break kids who many behaved terribly. Our room was nice but the door was broken (they said they fixed it but really it stayed broken if you didn’t slam it shut) mini bar…it is stocked (and we had the famous black bracelets) but it was not stocked daily as they said and requests weren’t handled. There were some foods that were great, the restaurants you have to book were nothing exceptional. Drinks were disappointing… very plain and making a million to serve all the spring breakers meant was tough to get a decent one. Next to no chairs at the beach… many chairs at the pool but again… too many spring breakers. While our trip was enjoyable it was not spectacular. I’m ok with the price I paid (booked way in advance) but would not have been happy if had to pay more. Le buffet and bites were the best restaurants, the food at the pool was also nice. They ask you to go to a “meeting” to book to go back - needles to say I didn’t do either!
