Low cost hotel for a reason. The staff did not feel helpful, shower did not work, and overall was a tough experience after long day of travel. Good value for the location and amenities though, just be aware of the lack of service and room quality.

Real inn Cancun was very clean only. There was no warm water in the sink to wash hands. The staff really didn’t want to help with anything. You can not check in early. House keeper tried to charge for cleaning stay over. Was not satisfied or felt welcome.

Not all the staff were friendly, especially the ones at front desk. It was all about money. When I asked a question, they seemed to be not very willing to answer. I was told through Expedia, that I have a VIP access to the hotel, I got nothing related to that. The location is in the middle between Cancun downtown and the hotel zone, there is nothing around it, except a public beach across the street.

The staff was not that welcoming in addition to avoiding eye contact during hotel procedures. Then, the a.c made a weird noise so we had difficulty to sleep during the night. I have to admit that we managed to sleep well and that they fix it the next day, however that night the a.c. didn't work at all. I called the receptionist and they informed me that they don't have a technician at the moment, hence the next day will be fixed. The technician never came. In addition, I asked for the daily bottles of water that they supposed to bring during cleaning. The receptionist sent someone, good for now. The next day (again) I called the receptionist and she informed me that the housekeeper already brought the bottles of water (which is not correct) so that if I want another one, there will be an additional fee of 80 pesos (5 $). On other hand, the room and view was amazing and breakfast was delicious. The pool was splendid. In conclusion, staff would need a better communication and problem solving skills.

I liked how friendly most of the staff was, liked the rooms and the pool and everything to do in the area. I didnt like the cleanliness of the room, before i moved a room my room looked like no one changed the sheets or washed the shower and shower head. I had to change room because of noise that was coming from above my room and they charged me for it. Overall it was an average experience, nothing too special.

Honest Review: What we liked-amenities were all great-pool/outside area was very clean & great to relax/lounge around during down time. Lobby was clean/organized as was the bathroom. Lobby cafe had starbucks coffee. The front desk staff was very helpful/professional.They do offer a free service of storing luggage in backroom should we have wanted to go to the beach before checking in (they dont allow early check-in). The room itself was spacious and had a balcony to dry wet clothes overnight. The AC in the room can be controlled or turned off. The bed was comfortable. Location wise the hotel sits too far to walk to the main hotel area however there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel in both directions where you can take a $0.71USD bus ride to the main hotel area or any of the many beaches. The same bus takes you back to the hotel, even late at night. Uber is also an option Last but not least the price to stay here is very fair compared to other hotels in the area. Most of the hotels right on the beach are all-inclusive resorts that charge a lot of $$$, which does make sense if you plan on staying in a single location & not eat/drink outside the hotel or explore outside of cancun. What we didnt like: Shower water pressure was extremely low, we showered each night with water pretty much dripping from the showerhead (warm water at least). the toilet flushed poorly, but not a big deal. Overall: Great place to stay if you're looking to travel Cancun & save $$!

The bedding and bathroom were clean. Floors and walls were not. Towels and bathmat were worn out and stained. Needs basic maintenance: lampshade was broken, deadbolt knob was missing, toilet paper holder falling off the wall. It suited our purpose for one night until we could get into our resort. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very bad service by front desk. We arrived at 1230pm hoping to get an early check in (as we had VIP Access through Expedia), Fernando at the front told us to pay 12usd per hour for early check in. We left our luggage and went to the beach. At 2:35 we came back and again she told us to wait till 3pm. We did not get the room upgrade as promised by Expedia. Rooms were available but she didn't give us an upgrade. At 2:50 finally she called us and gave us our room key card. Beds are so small. There should be queen beds, these seemed smaller than double. Room phone didn't work, no side table on one side of the bed. There was a machine noise all the time (even when the ac was off). TV had very few English channels. Today we requested a late check out and were told to pay another 12usd for that. Again Expedia had promised us late check out Subject to availability. I went again to speak to manager and finally we got one hour extra without paying. Overall very disappointed with the hotel. This hotel is far away from most places. Bus stop is also 10 mins walk away. Not many eating options closeby. Pay extra money and stay in a hotel with ocean view. Lagoon view is good but not great.

This hotel is a true gem in the rough, we were worried but immediately after our arrival we realized how wrong those on line reviews were, this is a fairly small hotel at the end of the Hotel strip, it is very simple, not a lot of amenities but extremely clean and well kept, staff was helpfull and polite always cheerful and willing to offer helpful tips on how to get around and what to visit. Lets be clear, this is a 3star hotel and you get what you paid for in the quality and esthetics of your room, but these are also very nice, extremely clean and very spacious not to mention having a very beatiful view on either side of the hotel. Their location makes it ideal to explore the city and other places, it is very quiet and away from the hectic pace of the downtown core but close enough that you can walk there if you want to. What is the most impresive quality of this hotel is its staff, everyone works extremely hard at making your stay a very pleasurable and enjoyable experience, they make you feel welcome and safe, We would definitely recommend this hotel for those looking for an adventure and exploring the city and we would definitely stay there again when we go back.

Hotel is modernish, it’s a very basic property. The price point is fair for the quality of the stay. 1. Incredible A/C in rooms 2. Lots of noise from hallways 3. Rooms are barebones, hairdryer in bathroom is a plus. 4. On-site resturant is expensive but no competition in area so you are handcuffed. 5. Staff are great with the exception of a few. 6. No mini fridge in room 7. Pool area is nice, lots of sun all afternoon. 8. Easy to get a cab/Uber to either downtown Cancun or hotel zone. 9. Good wifi 10. “Starbucks” on site 11. Fixtures in room could use a refresh as they are showing their age and rooms could use a deep cleaning and a coat of new paint. 12. No hot water, warm water if shower is left running long enough. 13. Absolutely no water at times Ultimately I would stay here again if I needed something cheap and easy but if I were to give my honest opinion I’d stay spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere else. Value for your money 4/5

The toilet didn’t work, I didn’t have water in my room for 3 days! I was going outside to the restaurant to use the bathroom! The people in the front desk are extremely rude! Don’t ruin your trip by booking this place! I had an awful experience! I ended yo checking out one day early and go to a different hotel because I couldn’t tolerate it anymore.

They have two main issues. They dont give you the VIP stuff and noise. The road side rooms are uninhabitable. I upgraded to the other side. Dont even consider this place if you wont. But I still had the echoes down the hall (especially of the noisiest trolly carts in history) and the ice machine. The had no usb plugs. Not even behind the tv. The safe was not bolted down. They let a scuba school and employee kids in the pool. Noisy guests. No fridge. No water issues for me. Internet and cable were ok. Pretty view. Good maid service. Not much around hotel.
