This is a female solo traveler review. A wonderful place in a great location! Lush and green, with a large, clean, cute room. There is a focus on accessibility here - in the hotel with an elevator and elevated walkways, and in the neighborhood for wheelchair access. I felt very safe on my own, even walking at night. Juan S. at the front desk spoke perfect English and gave me suggestions of where to go - the best taco place is down the street, and I walked to a huge New Year's Eve celebration. I went to Nomads, right down the street, for cheap beers and their cool, fun rooftop bar and then came back for a quiet, restful sleep.This is a perfect location in downtown for excursion companies to directly pick you up.

One of the main reason I booked on this hotel is the rave reviews for the breakfast. It was pretty basic. The sandwich we ordered came with 1 very extremely thin sliced of processed mortadelle "ham".

This is a little oasis right in the city! The grounds are lush and inviting. Great breakfast, friendly staff, walk to ADO bus station. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Will definitely be back!

Stayed here for 2 days and had terrible experience. 1. We got the room with transparent sliding doors, with no privacy and lock issues. 2. No hot water 3. On next day we asked for different room since the hot water problem was not resolved. 4. Different room on 2nd day and toilet flush is not working and toilet water backed up and AC not working.

The room and grounds were beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The breakfast was great and the staff incredibly kind. Eduardo went above and beyond to help us when it looked like we might not make it to our excursion, absolutely saving the day. The location is within walking distance to several great restaurants and even as a solo mom and her kiddo, we felt safe. We are so happy to have found this gem and look forward to staying again!

Food was fresh. Rooms cleaned very well. We didn’t use pool, but it was cleaned daily. The goal of this hotel is to be as environmentally run as feasible. If you don’t share these beliefs, maybe stay elsewhere?
