"For the price per night, the hotel was NOT UP TO PAR!!! First night we had no tv channels, second night, the cable was disconnected and someone had to reconnect it and, the smoke detector was covered in plastic and someone had to come uncover it AND the cost of the valet per day was ridiculous. Good thing we found parking on the street every night. "

"The front desk person was nice and good location, but that was about it. Felt super dirty, saw bugs and didn’t even want to/didn’t shower there because it felt so dirty and rundown. "

"We love this hotel, but the noise from the rooms has gotten really bad. Lots of street noise and homeless people yelling all night long. The parking is also so expensive. We have stayed here many times, but the noise and the parking might make us look across the river for our next visit."

"Went with family to a Portland thorns soccer game. This hotel was within walking distance of about 5 minutes. Was able to stay on the 5th floor in the large suite. Had two bedrooms, full kitchen and living room with a pull-out couch. Had a great view of the stadium. Bed's very comfortable. Will definitely be back! Parking's a little tough. Once we got there we didn't want to leave because we didn't want to lose the free parking spot. It looks really old from the outside but the inside was nice and clean and comfortable."

"Overall we had an excellent stay at the Heathman, even with the lobby construction. Our king room was extra large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially for our baby. We used the nearby SmartPark garage (at 4th and Yamhill) for parking with no issues and ~$15/night. "

"Staff was very nice and check in and valet was easy. The bathroom was pretty dirty and there was no hot water. We had to leave it running for more than 5 minutes to get to Luke warm so only 1 of the five of us was able to shower. Our room had a fold out couch that was awful. Because of those issues we would probably stay somewhere else next time. "
