"We had an enjoyable two night stay. Desk and porter staff were helpful and pleasant. Check in and out were seamless. The underground parking was easy to access by elevator. Be prepared-the most appropriate term below the first level is grotto. The place is excavated from rock. Not a bad thing, though.
The pool and hot tub were enjoyable, with towels provided. The housekeeping staff was responsive.
We stayed in the 3 bed suite. 2 Queen beds in a bedroom and a pull our couch in the main area. The pull out was nothing to write home about. Standard thin mattress supported by steel pipes. Perhaps better suited for a lighter person than I or the in-laws. The remainder were way more comfortable, from what I hear.
The hotel is situated just outside one of the gates of old Quebec within easy walking distance of restaurants and tourist traps. So whether you are into a coffee and croissant, pizza, or something fancier, you won’t starve. Bring your wallet, though as we routinely spent $150 or more for 3 adults and one child.
The food at the hotel steakhouse was good, and service was thorough and professional. That was just under $300 with liquor and dessert.
