「We had a wonderful room at the Hotel de Cambis in Avignon. We had a room with a french balcony overlooking Avignon. We were able to walk to the sites during our stay. There are shops and restaurants close by. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel.」

I guess the bad reviews are either from an earlier period or people don't understand it's a hostel. I was very glad to see a fan spinning in the room at night as it was very hot.
