"I brought my mom to gamble for her 74th birthday. It was pleasant that we could walk to the casino. It was unfortunate that the property was run down and the pool was down for maintenance. The staff were very nice and it appeared to be clean for the most part. For a one night stay it was sufficient. I’d probably stay there again. The fridge was broke in our room. I reported it when we left. "

"My family came down for the eclipse. The Super 8 was clean and well maintained, and very quiet despite being fully booked. Breakfast was great with a good selection and refilled all the time. One of the best features was the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. "

"This was a nice clean room but wasn't really worth the souped up charge for quilt week. I have stayed in way nicer places for a lot less money, definitely a tourist trap on the financial side. Might stay there again but not on quilt week. Basically $200.00 a night for a bed ,TV and bathroom to my self and not on the trolley or bus path so I still had to drive and pay for parking! "

"Stayed here as a last resort on the eve of the solar eclipse. Check-in was easy. Kitchen was well-stocked with an oven and pots and pans for making a real dinner (lasagna and vegetables from Dollar General) and breakfast to save money on eating out. Main room was spacious. Beds were firm but our family prefers that. An extra bed was provided beyond the two queens which was an added bonus to keep the peace. Would stay there again."
