This is quite a well equipped homestay. Its true that it has room for improvements, however, the owners are so lovely and helpful. I recommend the artists room. Very comfy bed and lovely outside bathroom. Lots of space for chilling out in the garden. Conveniently close to everything including the beach!

PUTRID. STINKS. Do not go. Nothing like advertisment. will be reported to Queensland health.i hope i can upload photos as Expedia and all others should remove them. Floor contains animal or human stains. I wouldnt let my dog sleep there. Prostitute out front on arrival. Fights at night time

Massive hole in the door broken glass everywhere. The owner was very rude, arrogant, dismissive and unapologetic. Absolutely no care about a person’s safety or wellness due to safety issues. I can’t stop writing about this place. To list everything would take a while. I’ll finish like this, I haven’t been able to leave this he’ll hole yet because there is broken glass trapped under my door to move my stuff out.

It was not clean, one bathroom is shared by 3 bed rooms, front door couldn't close, the wall insulation was terrible, I can hear next door bed movement noise clearly. There were trash bags left near the stair to 2nd floor. Some lights in the room were not working. The room is very small. There is no desk in the room. The back yard had very tall grasses. The property was not maintained well. It should not be served as a hotel. I don't recommend anyone to stay there.
a very small hallway to connect 3 bedrooms, the ceiling is low. It smell bad like mold due to moisture, and room window couldn't open.
The front door couldn't be closed, someone can get in without the key.
Trash bags were left at the stair to the 2nd floor

Not the best kept place I've stayed at. Empty bottles & cans strewn around bin, old, manky outdoor furniture. Shared toilet could be cleaner. Room a bit musty. Outdoor dining facilities aren't too bad. A bit overpriced for what's delivered.

Not what was advertised, unfriendly service. About $100 to much for what was falsely advertised. Beds were uncomfortable, facilities not what was expected. No where near the beach. Parking is a major issue. No one there when arrived and when owner turned up would not refund. Absolute con job, considering going to fair trading.

U cant fond the place then no one was there. There was building pallets in the drive way overflowing rubbish bins that stink. Wotif should not have this place on its site unless wotifs standards have dropped so much. Couldnt find anyone so had to book another place more costs. Dont be fooled by the Seaside name its not the place is a complete opposite to what they advertise. What a disgrace.

Nothing like the pictures, waited an hour and a half for the owner to show up and check me in. 3 other people were waiting with me and we all ended up leaving and staying elsewhere and the owner didn’t seem to care, didn’t try to change our minds and wouldn’t offer a refund. Disgusting.

The property owner was super lovely and was very understanding of any situation that arose during our new-years trip. She's exceptionally knowledgeable of the area and is very welcoming. The property itself is small but makes up for it with a lovely outdoor area, small treats that come for free such as lovely morning coffee sachets and complimentary hygiene products for showers and such. Mind you, it is not 5-star. But the effort is clearly there to make our stay so much more comfortable and welcoming. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend staying here!
