Jane in the restaurant was exceptionally organised and went out of her way to help this elderly ex service couple, she is to be complemented on her efforts. The two single beds 4’ are exceptional. The price of £66 for a room is absolutely acceptable although I would like to see a little reduction in the price of Bfast from £15 to £10, pensioners do not eat £15 worth of Bfast. Best Western in Lostwithiel was £80 and no comparison. This hospital chain has got everything right, any visit will be positive."

"The rooms are always meticulously clean and the property is well maintained. Having reintroduced the full english breakfast in a traditional sense the property has regained our commitment to booking a bed with breakfast rate. The staff are always very friendly and the hotel is perfectly located not only to see what Lostwithiel has to hold but for accessing other towns and villages in Cornwall. "

"Supererior double. Lovely room and super comfy bed. Good bathroom. Breakfast was lovely,hot and fresh and served nicely. Nice robes in the room and also iron and board. Added bonus was a bath. Will definitely stay again but maybe ask for a rear room as was lots of noise from traffic even with windows closed. Also think it's a bit unfair to charge for onsite parking. "

"Hotel reception wasn’t well signed. Rooms were clean, but corridors were quite dirty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Main restaurant wasn’t available so had to eat in a stark feeling cafe area which wasn’t so nice. The staff were very accommodating regarding allergy issues. The steak wasn’t very good. Breakfast in the restaurant area was nice. Again staff were attentive."

"Facilities really are first rate, staff are very friendly and attentive. Lots of sporting activities available, on-site food is pretty decent, although we tried to make use of the self-catering facilities. Rooms are lovely, although soundproofing could be improved but generally other guests are thoughtful. My only area of improvement would be the cooking facilities within the apartments. They are very basic and missing some simple amenities such as a chopping board. But overall really can't fault it. This was our second visit. I'm sure they'll be a third."
