A great location with plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. A few minutes walk to the Nile,Tahrir Square & Egyptian museum and, in the other direction to the heart of Islamic Cairo. The room was well furnished, with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. Everything worked - the fridge, the TV, the air con, the shower - which is not always the case in Egypt! Lovely roof top terrace decorated with Nubian artwork and, most importantly, all the staff were very welcoming and helped with any requests I had. Excellent and varied breakfast, mezze style, served on the roof terrace. If you are looking for a comfortable room, a relaxing roof terrace and a brilliant, central location this is the perfect small hotel to return to each evening after exploring the sites of Cairo.
