"I liked most everything about this hotel except : we heard a lot of traffic noise from the interstate. The shower was a drizzle of pressure so that was a little disappointing. Also, the gentleman who checked us in was very nice but stepped away into a back room during check in to "scan my license," .......when I asked why, he said something about being so close to the interstate they had to monitor for human trafficking....I did not understand this response and thought it odd. All that being said, it was a nice enough stay, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean."

"Easy parking. Friendly service. The room was clean and spacious. I appreciate that the room did not have carpet so no overwhelming perfume carpet spray like a lot of hotels have. Bed and linens comfortable.. The bathroom was spacious with a nice big counter to put things on. Shower had great water pressure. The hotel is tucked off the road so you don't hear the interstate traffic like you do just down the road. Glad I found this hotel, I will definitely make this my first choice for an affordable stay in Tuscaloosa when I visit my child at the University."

"They had a decent hot breakfast, complementary water, and snacks. Staff was very friendly and the room was pretty clean. My only main complaint was the ants. My traveling companion left a drink on the night stand and in the morning. It was covered with ants."

"The pool was closed for “repairs” but it was full and there was tons of sand and algae growing in it. It was unsightly. The room was clean, ac worked great and breakfast was plentiful. Staff very friendly. Good location to shopping, highway and university. Entrance is obscured by an abandoned restaurant though"

"The hotel is going through a remodel so there were several rooms that were not available. I understand the weekend we checked in was a busy weekend but what I didnt understand was the fact that if we asked for an early check in and all they say is 1 why my elder parents who arrived at 12:15 couldn't get a room unless they had tobpay an additional $25. I think it was very wrong and then couldn't get a later check out than 30 minutes. One staff member was friendly enough to offer the additional 30 minutes while the other was not. I hope that after the reemodel it will be more accommodating even on busy weekends ."
