「We stay at this hotel when we travel to see family. It is a fairly large hotel with excellent facilities. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. The food is also very good and the breakfast is excellent. We always enjoy our stay. The room is fairly standard with a king size bed but comfortable. We try and stay during the week as we’ve found that it’s better value. It gets quite busy at the weekends with golfers. 」

「Very very very bad hotel ever , the staff is very rude, the room is dirty, no hot water, from 9 pm to 2am , someone talking loudly in the pathway, I make complain with staff, they said nothing to do , it cost me 64 pounds , not worth it. Overall bad bad very bad hotel」

「A classic hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms. Friendly and competent receptionists. Nice breakfast. Continent breakfast self-served buffet or hot, customised English breakfast That take quite a while. If come by train, need to get a taxi ride of 8-10 minutes. We arrived late in the evening. Have to queue for half an hour at the taxi stop.」

「Cosy and modern, but keeping its older warmth. Efficient and quick service. Checking in and out was no bother. The shower was hot and the bed really cosy. Perfect stay for a night when up early for a course the next day. 」

「The room was nice and big but quite warm with no air conditioning. I was offered a fan but I am a light sleeper and we did have the windows open but it was quite noisy early morning. Having said that it would not put me off staying again in the same hotel. The hotel is perfectly positioned between Retford and Doncaster ideal for visiting family and friends.」

「All the staff are all really friendly and helpful, they responded my email quickly before my stay. I was supposed to get a mail delivered at the hotel and they tried their best to keep looking for my mail. It was really helpful for them to do so. The hotel room is clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is good, supermarket is just next to it and town centre is within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to all.」

「I found my stay at The Elms to be very pleasant and convenient. I stayed in The Stables just around the corner from the main hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. There were plenty of teas and coffees. The shower was decent. I enjoyed a good night's sleep. I also had dinner at the Indian Restaurant within the hotel. If I am in the area again, I will have no hesitation in staying there again」
