We just came and went from our cabin so didn't really experience a lot of the park.
The standard cabin was suitable for us (2) and we were able to heat it fine with the heat pump.

We loved the location and the cabin was lovely and clean. Checking in was difficult as we had to find staff to check in, and had the same issue when checking out. Staff weren't very welcoming, and didnt offer any information about the park or facilities.
Cabin was large and clean . Shower was good and hot. Bed was comfortable if a little soft for my taste.
Great perhaps for getaway, but lack of WiFi in room, and eateries near by a slight negative, unless that what you’re after. To be fair storm Albert didn’t help, but did underscore whether location good or bad, depends on what you were looking for.
Small, dark, old, tired and not very clean cabin. Great location.

Not well located for hiking as the track up Mt Warning seems to be 'permanently' closed for the usual reasons. Chair on balcony broken, hot plate difficult to operate but otherwise ok for the money
Spacious cabin.Bur the Gas had run out so we had No Hot water or able to use the stove top.Very disappointing considering we had paid $248.50 for the night. The caretaker really didn't care. His response was its out of our control when the gas runs out.No offer for any compensation..
We had a great stay in one of the newly renovated cottages(we were kindly upgraded ).The cottage was luxurious and well equipped.A beautiful spot!

Perfect little getaway! Relaxed vibe at the foot of Mt Warning, Surrounded by lots of arty farty places and natural wonders to explore. Really helpful hosts to point you in the right direction. Highly recommended! Oh did I mention the creek? It’s divine! The list goes on…. We’ll be back :)

Comfortable basic cabin. Very helpful, pleasant manager. Would stay again but hope access to the National Park will soo be permitted, even if the summit is barred.
