"We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. Top Byland with Wass Hotel Reviews

The Milner York

The Milner York

8/10 Good
"A lovely grand hotel that is a little past its prime. The room in the Sidings is connect to the main hotel by a long corridor with a weird smell. Thankfully the room was clean and did not smell. The bathtub was chipped with exposed black enamel. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little hard. I cannot comment on the food as we did not eat in the hotel or use the gym / pool. The location is perfect right next to the train station with an exit directly to the station. No train noice so that was a plus. Everything in town was walking distance and if you really don't want to walk there are lots of busses and cabs next door at the station."
