Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Springfield - I-44 by IHG
8/10 Good
"Area was looked questionable but plenty of restaurants and shopping was close. Parking was well lit and free! Hotel was clean and welcoming! Great amenities, ambience and atmosphere. My room was gorgeous! Large room with seating area and desk. Bathroom was a little small but had all necessities including a lighted mirror with defogger. Furnishings were modern and stylish. Staff were pleasant and restaurant/bar was stellar! Will definitely book again! "
"The eating area/lobby and the kickback room were filthy upon arrival and hadn't been used since that morning and kickback bar hadn't been used since the night before. The floor was gross. Tables were dirty. Also the breakfast was very cold and hard. "

10/10 Excellent
"The staff members were very pleasant and the check in process was extremely easy. The room was as pictured and was very clean. The pool area was nice and had a tropical feel. I do wish there was just a few more seats and tables available in this area but it was still great despite that. The fire and ice restaurant was very nice and easy to get a reservation. Bella's pizza was probably one of the best pizzas we have had! The continental breakfast had a very good variety. My kids really enjoyed their time here."
"I should start by saying had I have realized this was a motel I never would have booked a room here.
The motel appeared average as we pulled in. The office while dated was nice and clean. There appeared to be internet or computer issues when we checked in which took awhile to finally be given the room keys.
The room was another story!! The room- there was either an issue with the door handle or improperly set door. The only way to get it open was to literally ram it with your shoulder. Once the door was open there was a faint musty smell to the room and we noticed bugs in the room. There were two beds in the room both of which were lumpy and not comfortable at all. That bathroom was fine but the hanger for the hand towel was right next to the toilet which seemed strange. Other than that the water was hot for a shower.
Honestly had I not have rented the room through Expedia I would have left before checking in. "
"Why do they offer late checkouts and not tell there maids. Had a 12pm checkout time and housekeeping comes banging on the door at 930. I dont answer so they come in and wakes me up. Never could get back to sleep. Also never been to a hotel that doesnt get local channels."
