「Comparing same price range and hotel class, the rooms are much smaller in size, the lighting in poor (entrance and walkway to bathroom is dark), the entrance is very large and spacious but only 1 sofa for guests to sit / wait, the staff doesn’t greet guests as they walk in, the cleaning staff still comes in to clean your room even with the do not disturb sign on. Overall there are better same class hotel with better customer service, larger rooms and better overall value for your money.」

「To be honest, its really not worth that price. The good things are, staffs are nice and helpful, breakfast is good. The bad things are, room is old, the design of the shower is weird, the swimming pool is not clean.」

The courtyard and pool are stunning, and most rooms come with big balconies overlooking the peaceful setting. 「Booked a room with hot tub, given a room with no hot tub at first. Told the receptionist and given a room with a hot tub that is not working. No refunds and nothing extra given. Water heater not working 90% of the time and water boiler is so dirty. 」

「It’s an old hotel that’s what makes it charm! I hope they won’t make renovations and destroy the « cachet ». Our room was HUGE, and there were all the equipements that you usually finds in hotel room, and lot of storage. They also installed a little baby bed for us, it was lovely. We didn’t try the pool, so I can’t tell, but the breakfast offered was delicious and more than generous. 」
