"If you're looking for a glamorous boutique hotel with a fresh and modern look with all the glitz of a designer magazine then this is not for you. But... If you want a bit of 70's retro this place is fabulous. It even had the 1970's smell. It has a fantastic location in the town and I love it. Brown, brass, marble and teak wood set against bold carpets. Don't let the pictures online put you off. And don't worry about those temperamental credit card door entry pads here... good old fashioned...

"This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited. My room has eaves and felt super tight at the shower, so you may tell tem you need room with high ceiling if you are tall. "

"Everything was clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and while it is not a particularly kid focused hotel, the kids (6 and 8) were always welcome and accomodated. Breakfast was perfect and the two dinners we had in the reataurant were excellent. It was our first stay but we are already planning to come back. The only downfall was the small bathroom sink. "
