"My experience at Motel 6 was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The first issue was the condition of the rooms. They smelled strongly of smoke, which made the stay uncomfortable. But the bigger problem was with the staff and how my reservation was handled. I paid in advance for 7 nights, and during my 6th night, I returned to the hotel to find that all of my belongings had been removed from my room. The staff claimed I was supposed to check out that day and kept my $50 deposit, even though I had already paid for the full week and had also reserved another week in advance. My room key card was still working, which made the situation even more confusing. When I spoke to the front desk clerk, she told me my belongings were in the laundry room and said I could go back to my room. I retrieved my things, returned to the room, and stayed the night. The next day, after returning from work to pay for my next week, I was told that I had been kicked out and that I should not have stayed the night, claiming I had received a “free night.” I explained that the front desk employee had told me I could return to the room, but she later denied saying that and claimed she told me to leave, which was not true. Even though I believed I had done nothing wrong, I paid for the “free” night anyway just to resolve the situation. When I asked for my remaining belongings, I was told they couldn’t give them to me because they were locked in the laundry room and no one on the property had a key. I "

"Sheets were dirty. Mattress cover had blood. Room stunk. Shower had bad mold. Felt itchy. Did not want to give a refund"

"I got in the room and started moving the pillows around bugs came out from them. I’m not really sure if they are spiders or what, but there were also spots on the pillows and the bedding so when I told the front desk clerk that I cannot stay there and ask for a refund, she refused to give me one. I also paid for a queen suite which I was not put in because after I got there, she said they were all taken."

"First things first, when I arrived nobody was at the desk so I dashed the number provided on a sign for assistance and staff seemed annoyed and was told rudely to wait. Okay, whatever, I waited, no biggie. Second, I get the room and immediately see baby roaches in the bathroom and by the bed by the window. Then I went to shower and there were no towels. Called the front, no answer. Went to office, again no staff. Then went to check out, window thing was down, no staff. Couldn’t tell them what was wrong. Wouldn’t recommend a stay here. "

"I stayed at The LaSalle Hotel for my best friend’s wedding, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the customer service stood out — every staff member, including housekeeping, greeted me each time I entered or exited the hotel. Their kindness felt genuine and consistent throughout my stay. They also went above and beyond with small gestures that made a big difference. When they noticed we brought in food, they immediately offered paper plates and utensils without us even asking. It’s rare to find that level of attentiveness. The onsite food and drinks were great, and the recent renovation of the hotel is beautiful — modern, stylish, and very well done. The entire property feels refreshed and welcoming. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend The LaSalle Hotel to anyone visiting Bryan."

"It wasn’t too bad for the price. Our fridge was broken and it smelled terrible like an electrical fire. So we asked if we could put it outside our door because it smelled up our room. It stayed outside our door for the entire three days we were there. Good thing we brought a cooler or else our food we brought would have went bad. The hair dryer was melted and not usable. We had to make our own beds. The WiFi was hard to connect to as well it would connect and then randomly drop out of now where. The fold out couch beds were pretty bad. They were thin and the springs were poking you. We fixed that though with extra blankets lol. With that said though it was cleanish and thank god there was no bugs. It was quiet and the shower was nice. We had a great working AC. Like I said though for the price we got it at and how long we stayed it wasn’t too bad at all. Just giving more of a heads up. I’ve definitely stayed at worse."

"Upon check in I was assigned a handicap accessible room despite not needing one. Was not informed or asked if it was acceptable. Bathroom had no countertop, only a pedestal sink, making shaving, dressing etc inconvenient. The room rate was very overpriced. Will not return. "

"Deceptive in charging $25 upon check-in with no notice about chafe- plus elevator not working so had to carry 3 bags down stairs by self with ankle hurting "
