「The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.」

「The host greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly; assuring us that if we needed anything further to let her know.
It was very well equipped: fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster, not forgetting a jug of fresh milk.
Would definitely stay here again.」

「Highly recommend, unique rooms and brilliant staff, in the heart of Chester! Got upgraded to the Secret Garden and it was great! Stayed before in the Safari room which has its own jacuzzi bathtub which was brilliant! This time opted for another room as it safari was booked, but the upgrade was great! Staff very friendly and brilliant! Cannot complain in the slightest! Can’t wait to go again! 」

「The room was equipped with a small kitchen which is great for longer stays. The room was very big. The only drawback is that you need to pay for parking. When we looked it did not state this. 」
