"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. There was spray and a fly swatter inside which indicates this must be a known issue to the property manager. It made our short stay very uncomfortable. 2. This is not a hot tub, it is a swedish bath. "I love to walk so I opted to walk to Tralala from the train station - a 15 minute walk - no biggy. Leave the train station from the platform if possible, rather than descending to the main entrance. This will lessen the uphill climb with luggage in tow. The balance of the walk is uphill (think San Francisco) and tests stamina and energy (I am a senior-strong and capable) The staff was very friendly and helpful. A welcome drink was a great perc and truly enjoyed! Another perc was a free ride on the public transportation - a great plus! Be aware there is a bell tower that goes off on a regular basis somewhere nearby, however there are also ear plugs supplied in the room - yeah! Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, great value for enjoying Montreux."
