The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have a great cafe and breakfast is included in your stay. You can park at the railway station close by and take a shortcut to the property. Room was lovely. You need to be able to go up stairs.

The person running the place is wholesome.

Great stay. A little hot, but it’s not the hosts fault. The fan was helpful and after about 11 PM it became a very pleasant sleep. I loved the contactless entry. The host emailed me all the details several days in advance which was nice and all I needed to access the room was a code. The room itself is very nice. The bathroom is the highlight. The rooms were very inexpensive. They were very small. But clean and the beds were a lot more comfortable than most of the beds I’m finding in the UK. The bathrooms and kitchen were meticulously clean and organized. The kitchen had and oven, stove, microwave, coffee makers and every utensil, pot, pan, or sheet I’d need to cook. Everything is as described and Mary, the owner is super friendly and always available if you have any questions. Knowle is a relatively large historic village with an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants for its size.

I used this property as my base in Birmingham while I was attending an event at the NEC. It was so conveniently located the owners were so friendly and helpful that I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this lodging, should I have another event in Birmingham? The property has been recently updated. I really like the modern bathroom facilities.

We were not there long but the place was really nice and the staff excellent. Recommend for anyone.
