"My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. "

"Valentina's father was wonderful. Though it's important to know that English is not understood, he made every effort to make us feel welcome and explain everything about the apartment. The B&B is charming, a beautiful renovation in a quaint small town. We were only there one night but had a lovely experience."

"Di villa santa Elena posso solo che parlare egregiamente una splendida stanza con vista meravigliosa e un oste (Enzo) molto cortese e disponibile proprio una bella persona, servizio ineccepibile mi sono sentito davvero a casa. "Staying at La Terrazza was a great choice. The room was comfortable and warm (we had a couple of coolish nights), the bathroom was clean, the shower had lots of hot water and wonderful pressure and the kitchen had everything would we have liked to cook. The breakfast was great with the star being the home made apple cake with home grown apples and free range eggs from Pino's chickens. "It seemed like the owners was surprised by us really coming, although we booked a few months in advance. No warm welcome, just a small buena Sierra, no smile, no wifi code.
