"We had an awesome stay but the heavy rains caused us to evacuate our villa as we got flooded, hotel staff was super awesome and we got upgraded to a hotel room."

"The housekeeping were wonderful & had fun teaching me a few Africans. The Dining staff were always there. The tour guides we friendly with great senses of humor. The food was a very good quality and tasty. As someone who is dairy free they had good variety of non-dairy milks, but a lot of food had dairy and as far as gluten-free my options were very limited."

"Book this! You will not regret it. We just returned from a beautiful stay at Clouds and we couldn’t be happier. It was by far the best choice - stunning location, rooms, pool, food(!) and most importantly the staff. We will 100% be returning. We have travelled to a lot of 5* properties around worlds and this was truly special. A good point to note is that it’s right next door to the Delaire Graff Estate which is worth a visit for wine tasting, or lunch/dinner (they offer a free shuttle service). Also right beside some spectacular wineries, Tokara & Bartinney."

"Overall a nice stay and will come back. Parking was outside on the street. No option to book inside parking on hotels.com site, but it was safe. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom a little dated showing wear and tear (cracked walls). Breakfast was excellent! Complimentary Netflix and good wifi. "

"Very nice all round hotel in a great location, it also has the benefit of an Hussars restaurant attached. This is a great hotel at a sensible price considering it’s position in Franschhoek. Have stayed here many times and will continue to use this hotel on my visits. "
