Das Zimmer ist modern und hell eingerichtet, leider scheint es so das, dass Inventar nicht regelmäßig auf ihre Funktion geprüft wird. Die Batterien in der Fernbedienung waren leer. Beim Check-In hatte ich mit dem Besitzer an der Rezeption eine unangenehme Diskussion über die Ausstellung der Rechnung, die erst nach mehrmaligem Auffordern getätigt wurde.

Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist in einem Top-Zustand, alles sauber und großzügig errichtet.Das Zimmer, die Flure und der Speiseraum waren familienfreundlich eingerichtet .Das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend vielfältig, z.B. mehrere Wurst und Schinkensorten, Obst und Müsli in großer Auswahl. Bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in dieser Gegend werden wir hier wieder einkehren.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit Luft nach oben

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön in Breckerfeld, allerdings an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Unser Zimmer war tadellos, besonders hervorzuheben ist die absolute Sauberkeit. Allerdings gab es auch zwei kleine negative Punkte während unseres Aufenthalts. Die Bedienung im Frühstücksbereich war etwas ruppig, so wurde z.B. die Frage nach der Verfügbarkeit von Teesorten mit der Bemerkung das man über 20 Teesorten habe, die aber jetzt nicht alle aufzählen werde, beantwortet. Wenn dem Gast eine Auswahl angeboten wird, sollte dieser auch eine Möglichkeit haben, die Teesorten zu erfahren. Ein weiterer Punkt, der uns aufgefallen ist, betrifft den Fernsehempfang. Die voreingestellte Fernsehsenderliste ist sehr unpraktisch, da zu Beginn der Liste nach ARD und ZDF im Anschluß die HD-Versionen der Privaten aufgeführt sind. Diese sind hier jedoch verschlüsselt, und somit nicht empfangbar. Erst nach längerem Suchen findet man RTL, SAT1 und die übrigen Sender jenseits der Position 300. Einfach nur ärgerlich.

Altes Haus - neu gemacht. Der historische Gasthof ist schön gestaltet und die Zimmer modern, reichhaltig und mit ungewöhnlich vielen Details ausgestattet, die auch für Luxushotels nicht selbstverständlich sind (Waage im Bad, Tempos oder Korkenzieher...). Es gibt auch verschiedene Kopfkissen zur Auswahl. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Infomaterial zu Wanderungen und anderen Aktivitäten wird in der Lobby angeboten.
