「The hotel is a block from downtown in a quiet area. Everything is walkable from there and the free buses are a few blocks away. We will stay there next time since it is so convenient with a wonderful staff. We visited friends, but did not want to stay at their house. This was in the middle of everything.」

「What a great place to stay in Nantucket! Don’t sleep on the Brass Lantern for your Nantucket vacation. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Shower was stocked with Grown Alchemist Shampoo, conditioner and body wash, bathroom counter stocked with hand wash and body lotion. Their continental breakfast is a perfect start to the day for anyone who would rather not wait in line for the coffee shops. You get a text everyday around 5pm for your next day...

「Property is unattended and there is no method of contacting the Innkeeper other than by mobile phone. There was no TV in our room abut if you wanted to watch TV, there is a screen in the communal area. Room was exceptionally clean and well presented and the bathroom facilities were first class. A self service breakfast was included in the room cost and was more than adequate with a good selection of breads/fruits/pastries/hot & cold drinks. The location is a 15 minute walk from downtown...

「bad experience, won't go back. room tiny, ac unit in window made noise all night, no one bothered to fix it.」

「I would expect there to be more frequent transport available to take guests between town and hotel. Only one an hour is not enough. I would expect coffee in the room and not have to go to lobby. The staff did not help much when it looked like a storm might strand us at the hotel, I had to do all the investigating - fortunately we were able to get a ferry. It’s not a hotel for anyone wanting to be anywhere than in their room. And in the bad weather we had on our stay it felt empty and lifeless...
