"Our stay started off very badly when we arrived around 11pm and the face recognition did not work to allow us entry. It took us an hour to sort out, trying to get help from the whatsapp helpline. The doorman did not speak English, and I tried using google translate to translate what i was saying into Portuguese, but he refused to do the same back. "Precisava do hotel principalmente para dormir, já que passei a maior parte do tempo fora. Na primeira noite, ao entrar no quarto, o ar-condicionado era velho, com ruído insuportável e mais calor dentro do que fora. Pedimos troca de quarto na recepção e nos negaram qualquer solução, mesmo havendo outros hotéis Red Andrade na cidade. Nos deram apenas um ventilador, prometendo consertar o ar no dia seguinte. No segundo dia, a mesma situação se repetiu. O atendente tinha aspecto descuidado e mau cheiro — incompreensível para um hotel. Insistimos em uma solução, sem sucesso. Duas noites nos sentindo ultrajados e maltratados. No terceiro dia nos trocaram de quarto e, para nossa surpresa, era o único com ar-condicionado split. Tenho certeza de que todos os outros quartos têm o ar velho; só nos deram esse quarto porque reclamamos muito. Para completar, ao pedir reembolso das duas noites com problema, nos devolveram o valor de apenas uma. Não recomendo este hotel: está em condições deploráveis e muito desatualizado."

"Clogged sink, stinky room: extra heavy chemical fragrances trying to disguise the horrible sewage odors emerging from the bathroom. Double that with extremely heavy chemically scented bedsheets and pillow cases. The breakfast was absolutely miserable. The scrambled eggs were a greasy fluid smelling like chicken (yikes!)"

"Room is outdated. Mold in bathroom. Ceiling texture was falling. Towel rack was also falling. Towels were dingy and old. On the other hand, room and hotel common areas were clean. Staff was pleasant and polite. This is absolutely NOT a 4 stars hotel. This place felt more like a glorified motel or Inn rather than a 4 stars. "
