The property is in two adjacent brownstones facing the Mass Pike. Although the room and bathroom is spotless, the stairway in my half was leaning several inchesnto one side as the building is settling. Although only 2 or 3 blocks from a trendy area, the block itself is a bit creepy at night. Sharing the bathroom was never a problem. The bathtub could use a non skid surface and grab bars. There was not enough space to unroll a yoga mat in my room. Overall, for this fit 67 year old man, a good value when the other hotels available that weekend were all $500 per night.

I don’t usually give negative reviews but I must comment on the noise. My room directly faces a busy train track running 24 hours a day. The window, inches away from my pillow, is locked open with a giant gap (due to an aftermarket portable ac unit) it was impossible for me to sleep during my 3 day stay. There was no communication from the property and I was not able to request a different room. The housekeeper was amazing and did an excellent job maintaining the room, nice and clean. Property was also a great value and close to everything. Just the noise. Please take a minute to answer your guests requests.

When I picked this place I knew that I would be sharing a bathroom with others - but the condition of the bathroom is way worse than I expected. It was clean over all speaking, but it was SO small and there's nowhere for you to put your clothes and towel. The ceiling of the bathroom is the worst - it's deteriorating and they property management didn't fix it. I stayed on for two nights on Saturday and Sunday, and on the first night it was very noisy. It's expected that people would stay out late on Saturday, but the noise resistance is really bad. I woke up multiple times at night because of the noise.

These properties are exactly what you’d expect and paid for accordingly. The value is appropriate, especially if you’re prepared in advance. Very old, and somewhat rundown. Stairs can be treacherous with poor stairway lighting. Good WiFi signal. Shared bathroom. Typically fine for one night. I’ve stayed here multiple times. My room this time was much smaller than previous stay, but functional. Air conditioner drowns out traffic noise nicely. This last time was first time I was accosted (not violently) by neighbor a few doors down. Easy convenient walk to Back Bay station (~10 minutes) and plenty of restaurants ~10 minute walk. If you’re aware of what you’re going to get, this is fine for a short stay. Their communication is good. Check in isn’t until 4 and they try to charge you if you want to drop off bags (which I think is cheesey). No onsite staff

Great location to Back Bay station and Melbournes is super safe. The rooms condition was a bit rough. TV didn’t work, and the batteries in the smoke detector were dying and it chirped all night. Would stay again but only as a last resort .

The heat control remote did not work at all. I left a note about this. The heater exhaust vent attached to the window kept coming undone and left a 1" gap for outside cold air to blow in. It was 40 degrees temp at night. Was not told I would have to walk up three flights on a narrow staircase to my room. There were 14 rooms total on the with only 2 single shared bathrooms. Lucky it was not fully occupied or the wait for a bathroom would have been an issue.

I was pleasantly surprised how close it was to transportation and how safe it was to walk at night. I took the Logan express to get here and back to the airport. Best decision.

Hotel pictures/description lie.
I was not given a description on how to get into the property until I asked on my drive up. I was then informed that my payment didn't go through and that they would cancel my stay unless they got something. (My payment information was valid, I checked) The property contacted me through multiple channels and I wasn't sure if one was a scam until I called hotels.com to check for me. Room was dirty and in disrepair. Floors 3 & 4 bathrooms (the only ones I used) were dirty and in in disrepair. The ceiling of floor 3 bathroom leaked.

Very nice place. Plenty of space for me and my girlfriend. Clean and quiet. The hotel is in a good spot of the city, we were able to walk to most places, or take the subway at the nearby station. I thought that the shared bathroom would be an issue, but we had no problem sharing with the other people on our floor, could hardly even tell that anyone else was there with us. Would recommend.

I am beginning to wonder if being a Platinum member of Expedia has benefits because this stay was awful. The noise from Boston trains and freeway made this accommodation near what Giantonomo must be like. Also accessibility was minimal with codes for BOTH building and door not available till I was standing on the street corner. This is the worst place to stay from Expedia. It was inhospitable, inhumane and immoral especially in an apartment that abuts the noise.

I thought this was a great value compared to other places in the area. It’s a shared bathroom. But the space was clean and nicely furnished. I was on the 4th floor facing the highway but noise didn’t bother me with the in room AC on. Only suggestion would be a hairdryer and some extra paper towels. It is a narrow crooked staircase up 3 flights. Probably wouldn’t work for a lot of people who need more amenities. But worked great for me.

Not every floor has a sink or a toilet so be prepared to walk up or down a flight of stairs for access. Some toilets don't have sinks so you'll need to take the stairs for that as well. Best thing I did was take a pair of flip flops and a light bathrobe. Despite the size of the room, there was a fridge, microwave, coffee maker (with coffee!), iron, AC/heater and one more item I can't remember because I didn't use it...

Price is comparably affordable, and you do have to share the bathroom with other units. Other than the carpet, it is clean enough. Location is superb as it is right between Arlington St. Station and Back Bay Station, so it is very easy for you to go to all the popular places.

If take into account that it was the cheapest place in that area, so could be satisfied. But I would recommend to work in improving window -air condition link, as it was very noisy outside and window doesn’t close good, so was windy and noisy.

pretty good accommodation. Great location! Love the area. The cheaper rooms are quite small but that’s why the are cheap. I would love if they consider along pets and/or emotional support animals in the future. The biking also has a very nice patio in the back that could be converted into a seating outdoors area (perhaps allow smoking there?)

Get into the property it’s got cute structure come to find out no elevators. My room is on the fourth floor so it’s about 20 steps every floor so 80 steps I didn’t see that I had a shared bathroom but I wasn’t going to complain about it besides the fact that there’s no airflow in the bathroom so whoever goes to the bathroom before you, the smell is stuck in there and it’s hot as can be probably about 100°, I stayed here for three days first two days were fine. They do have AC units in the windows not central AC and today it’s about 80 outside which actually feels nicer outside than it does in my room right now the AC is blowing out cold air but my room is 85 to 90 degrees I had to put ice in me to sleep .. the manager messaged me to empty some tray in ac and that it’s hot in Boston right now but I live in vegas and I’ve never had this happen at a room I’m paying for especially at almost 200 a nught

Fully self-serve check-in/check-out. Good communication. Old row house with small, functional room replete with a small fridge and microwave. If it's not apparent before booking, there are shared bathrooms. I did not have any issues with bathroom availability and shower water pressure was great. Price was right. Some street noise given proximity to I-90, but it's not disruptive when the Black & Decker AC/heat unit was running.

This location is not for the business traveler or vacation traveler who wants a comfortable place to stay. First of all, the bathrooms are shared which is an inconvenience for me. The bathroom had a leak and the tile was removed from the floor so you were walking on wood. I tried to see if Premier Suites Bay Village could move my location but they said they could not. I complained about the room and could do nothing for me. This was not a happy stay for me.

I think it needs to be clarified that this property is really more like a hostel than a hotel, which is fine if that's what you're looking for. The location is great except it's right on the Pike and super noisy. It was also unclear when I originally booked our stay that the rooms I reserved did not have private bathrooms, so I had to pay an upgrade to get rooms that had their own bathrooms. Everything in the building is slanted and probably not in great shape, but the furnishings do a nice job of covering most of that up. Overall I had a good stay, I just didn't really understand what I was getting into when I booked.

シャワーとトイレが共用なのが一番の問題だが、狭くてゆがんだ階段を、荷物を抱えて４階まで上がるのは大変だった。エレベーターは当然ない。しかしボストンのホテルは高いので、この価格ならこんなもの、というところか。
