"Reluctant to write a negative review but, sadly, this motel merits a poor rating. A kind description would be rustic, an honest appraisal would be shoddy and poorly maintained. The room smelt musty, there was mould around cracked tiles in the bathroom, the windows had that hazy look of ingrained dust and grime, the bedroom carpet was ancient & stained and the fabric on the corners of the bed was ripped. Das Abendessen im Hotel war auch gut. Der Weg nach Bastia, zu den Stränden und zum Hafen ist kurz. Wir können das Casa Mea sehr empfehlen auch wenn die Parksituation nicht optimal ist. "

"We had a great stay, good room with comfy bed and pillows. It is an open shower with no door or curtain, so the floor/bath mat outside the shower gets soaked, no matter how careful you are. The garage is very tight to get in and out, and the slope doesn't help but if you can't find free parking close by, it is a safe option at €10 per night. The staff are friendly and helpful. The city centre is an easy, pleasant 15 min walk. There is also an excellent restaurant at the marina, across from the hotel."
