Room 406 is way too hot. We had friends who stayed on the same floor as my wife and I and their rooms weren’t even close to the heat that was in our room. I believe the floor heating in the bathroom is broken. It seems it’s stuck on even when off

Overall good
Pretty good hotel with amazing staff, that has been affected by the flood. I would rate it 5/5, but there’s no laundry service and the restaurant was not open on Sunday.

Nice hotel
Amazing friendliness and customer service, front desk very accommodating regarding Covid concerns (got a lunch box instead of buffet breakfast). In the room: very spacious. It would help if A/C and floor heating controls (bathroom) were mounted right side up and if they would actually do their job, i.e. control and change temperature.

Great place to stay in Koln area!
I really like the park hotel in Euskirchen. Really handy for the station and the town. Nice bar, good food, great breakfast and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Huge rooms, nice location
Room was huge! Good basic breakfast, easy parking (costed 17e/night). Town is easy accessible. Only minus was the power outlets nearby beds as there wasn't any. Plus Wi-Fi a bit slow.

Overheated!
Reception was welcoming and efficient and first impressions were good. We had booked a de luxe room which was quiet and looked to the back over roofs of neighbouring buildings. The room was very hot and after repeated attempts to lower the temperature we failed as the thermostat instructions were vague. In fact there was no book of instruction or information about the hotel anywhere to be found. The emergency information was by the door to the room but was almost unreadable because because the light was so poor. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions but we had to sleep with no bedclothes because of the heat. The bathroom was well appointed but at 26 degrees was unhealthily hot. It was impossible not to cause a flood because the shower seal was defective. We reported the heating problem to reception who sent a maintenance man immediately. His only comment was that all the rooms were set at this temperature. We had occasion to need a doctor but again there was no registered doctor so we spent the morning at the local hospital. The breakfast was standard fare but we asked for a soft-boiled egg on our third morning and it never came. All in all this was a disappointing stay and judging by our experience we would not recommend this hotel. We made our feelings felt at reception and did get the car park fee of €36 waived.

All rooms are air conditioned and you may control the temperature within the room by yourself. Our team is happy to provide support if you have any problems with the handling. We apologize for the missunderstanding between you and the maintenance man. If our guests need a doctor, our reception team will assist you and give reccomendations. We have no doctor on-site at the hotel. One of the chief concerns for us is that our guests have smiles on their faces, are perfectly happy and enjoy their stays. We regret that we were not able to provide you the assistance and service you expected. We do hope you will give us the opportunity to do better next time. Your Welcome-Team

Smart hotel close to transport links and the town
This is a very smart, comfortable hotel with very friendly staff, an excellent breakfast, and enormous, very posh bathrooms. The only thing missing were facial tissues normally found in this class of hotel. The train and bus stations are directly opposite the hotel and the town centre starts literally around the corner. The hairdryer, not mentioned in the hotel advertising, is cleverly hidden in a drawer in the bathroom. A bottle of drinking water is provided, renewed when the previous one is empty. We were very impressed with this hotel especially for the price demanded by Expedia.

Amazing Stay!!
This Parkhotel was one of the nicest stays we had during our two week trip to Europe. It’s located right across from tons of public transportation options, or you can park your car in the neighboring garage for about €10/ night. Short trip to Bonn or Cologne with a select offerings in Euskirchen as well. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. The front desk staff (one young lady in particular) went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We even had a minor fiasco with our passports and she let us check out at 4PM with no additional charge. The rooms are some of the largest you’ll find in Europe, which is refreshing coming from the luxury of space we have in the USA. The bathrooms have full size tubs and even have American outlets for those of you traveling with limited adapters. The breakfast offering is extensive and offers something for everyone. From smoked trout to cereal to fresh baked bread, you will leave breakfast more than satisfied. Apparently this hotel was recently rated 4 stars (has been 5 Stars pervious years) and is being acquired by a new company - so it will no longer be a park hotel. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

Underwhelming
Initial welcome on arrival was very disappointing. No polite greeting or enquiry about our trip. Simply a desire to charge us additionally €30 a night for provisioning an extra bed for our our 15 year old daughter - who the receptionist suggested would otherwise sleep in the same bed as her parents! We held our ground and refused to pay this charge as she was declared at the time of booking with Hotels.com. It's essential for us that we can trust that the price that we pay Hotels.com is the all-in price and it's distressing when there are subscribing hotel chains that don't seem to want play by these straight forward rules. This hotel isn't located in the middle of a very busy city like Munich and so it's also disappointing that they choose to charge such high fees (€10 per night) to park your vehicle at the hotel. No tea/coffee supplied in the room as standard. Slow WIFI. Would be helpful if all the account details supplied to Hotels.com was shared with hotel to prevent duplicating the same information again at each check-in.

Wonderful hotel as base camp in the NRW
This is among the best hotels I have ever stayed in, I had a junior suite, and it was a wonderful room, I changed my travel schedule just to stay here. Full hotel services, gourmet restaurant, friendly staff, underground parking, awesome spa. The hotel is quite centrally located in the North Westphalia, and offers easy Autobahn access to most main cities of this German state. Very pleased, saving this as one of my favorite hotels.

Very good place to stay. The have only one problem: the need some maintenance in the rooms: we got the room we booked but it had problems with the shower, they changed it and the mattress was a disaster and they changed again. But they did all the efforts for solve our problems. The breakfast is fantastic ! and the amenities in the room excellent as well. you are 10 mts from the central train station and 100 mts from there is a big free park place.

It was just a stopover on the road. The town is just a town. But the hotel is really neat. Almost futuristic. It was a good night there.

Different, but nice.
Weird floorplan, in that rooms were not numbered sequentially. Finally found ours, only to find out the lights did not work. After a trip back to registration,the clerk explained that the key card had to be inserted into a slot inside the room. Hard to find the slot in the dark! Suggest: 1) Clerk inform customer upon registration and 2) light the slot. Pillows were awful. Room was large and comfortable as well as the bath.
