The toilet in our room didn't work properly (the tank didn't fill), so I had to fix it myself every few flushes. Also, the phone in our room didn't work, which made me nervous when there was a man screaming in the parking lot at 3:30 in the morning, especially since there was no front desk person there. It worked for the purpose we needed it for, and the price was better than comparisons in the area. Fridge and microwave in room was a plus. "

"I am a seasoned traveler. Room and bath are very small, no seating and super thin walls. Could hear everything in the other room including snoring. Could also hear the highway. Room 9 was up 13 steep stairs. The private deck with seating overlooked the trash and hvac area for the restaurant next door. Did not smell good. It is a real stretch to call this motel a resort or room 9 a suite. The best thing is the canal front dock with comfortable seating. Breakfast is very basic. It is very clean and well equipped. Bed is ok if you like super soft. Contactless check in and out is convenient. Not what I expected for $300 per night. "
