「Place was beautiful but breakfast was a let down. Would need a car to go anyway as it is out of the way.」

「To start with positives, the Staff were excellent, helpful & friendly. I have a walking stick and on checking in the Lady at reception insisted in carrying our bag to the room. Everywhere was very clean. We ate in the hotel both nights. The food was excellent, as was breakfast. However the room was very disappointing. Very small & cramped and the lighting very poor. I could barely see to shave in the en-suite. Despite the good breakfast (evening meals not included obviously) the price charged...

「Nice hotel. A quiet lounge in the evenings, when there is a wedding or other party group, would be good. To get away from the crowds. Maybe there is one that we didn't find.」

You have a coastal walk of Strangford Lough, an amazing Castle, all the village amenities and great pubs, with the Dufferin Arms providing that that fantastic Irish atmosphere and experience (stones throw from Driftwood. The owners of Driftwood could not do enough to make you feel welcome and were on hand to any questions. Massive thank you to Jo. Exceptional value and highly recommended. 」
