"The room was very clean and it was quiet. A really nice view. I personally didn't care for climbing stairs to the third floor. Would be fine for a young person. And no coffee till after 7am... I'm an early riser. But, it was overall a good stay."

"Great place to lay your head. The down size was the breakfast and no ice machine. The other reviews were exaggerating, thought I was going to go in a horror movie. The stay was great you get what you pay for. I was pleased with the stay."

"This hotel has a fantastic location right non Lake Superior. We had a lakeside room and the view was amazing. Enjoyed sitting on the lake after dinner in Grand Marais. Sunrise was amazing! The staff had opened the breakfast early for us as we were leaving for Superior Hiking Trail early in th emorning. Will book again!"

"Our room was very nice and appeared to be recently updated. This is a “self service” kind of place so there is no maid service during your stay. There is a number you can call if you need anything. It is a great location right across from the harbor so you can walk to everything in downtown Grand Marias. I would request a second floor room next time for better views of the harbor."
