「Great location and good breakfast」

「The hotel is beautifully placed halfway between Asheville and Black Mountain. Staff is kind and friendly. Breakfast changed daily and it was good. Easy parking and you don’t have to pay for it. Hotel is clean and I would stay here again.」

「Loved our stay my only complaint is the parking - It’s either $50 a day for valet or $30 a day for self parking that turns over at 5a so you’re paying for at minimum 2 days. Also getting to the parking with luggage is a nightmare」

「We got on Expedia and were able to get a room in an hour of our stay. When we arrived they had written our name on the key exchange and had chocolates on our pillow with a very nice note from management. Our room was clean and tidy! The entire hotel was quiet and very clean. We were very pleased with our short stay! A great in between stop from Owensboro KY to Wilmington NC.」

「As always, the Lake Lure Inn was a delight. They used to have continental breakfast but weren’t offering during this stay. Always enjoyed the continental breakfast and it added value to the many stays there. We look forward to its return. In its absence we thoroughly enjoyed delicious breakfasts at a fairly new restaurant called The 828.」

「Bad breakfast. Out of coffee regularly. Ice macine broken. People were smoking in building- wouldn't stay there again for that reason alone」

「Accommodation was adequate, there are better option within the same 1/4 mile area. I think we were the only people without tattoos, breakfast crowd felt like I was eating at a homeless shelter! That’s what low price gets you.」

「Everything was great. Our family had a great stay. The one aspect that gave us pause was there’s a barn/sliding door for the bathroom. Having a door that closed would have been preferable. =0)」
