"Cute little resort. The staff were all really great, we wanted to head to the beach so they let us stay past check out time at no charge and set us up with transfers for our next destination. Only thing that was a real bummer and we didn’t stay long because of it is there is no A/C in the rooms and they are very hot and muggy, my husband was dying and didn’t get much sleep and the restaurant was closed for Ramadan and there were not many other options around. "If you’re looking for a self contained retreat experience, this property is awesome. Having its own private beach is a plus for that. It’s an older property but beautifully maintained. If you want to venture off the property, though, that’s a different story. It’s isolated, miles removed from the Kuta Beach scene. In my eye, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, mind you. I found Kuta Beach to be overrun with locals on the weekend and largely deserted during the week. Didn’t like the aggressiveness of the hawkers either. So I was content to stay at the Novotel and relax most of the time. "
