"The goods: the lady let us check in 1 hr earlier, the property was cleaned and well maintained. The horse farm is very nice and the horses are super friendly and cute. The bad: the temperature downstairs (living room and kitchen) was very hot without any way to turn it down. We opened the window in the bedroom upstairs but that brought 100s of bugs that were biting us. Between the very uncomfortable temperature and the bugs it was a very bad night. "We stayed just for one night erupts to Vik. Nice property, close to Selfoss, reasonably priced for Iceland prices. Kitchen is well equipped. Many other facilities such as hot tub, on site cafe etc which we couldn’t use due to lack of time. Highly recommended for visiting National park, Geysir and Gullfoss waterfalls."

"Great location on the far side of Thingvellir National Park close to the new Laugarás Lagoon. Freya Farm is truly a family owned farm by a wonderful young family. They were so kind and the property is absolutely stunning. The owner took us for a short hike around their backyard to an amazing river. This is truly a hidden jem."

"Really cozy cottage (we stayed in the villa) and it came with a private hot tub with natural spring water. It’s excellent value for what we paid for and just comfortable, straightforward, and well appointed. Would love to stay here again! A couple of tips: 1. You must take trash out when you leave. There’s instruction on the wall about where to take it and you could get fined if you don’t. 2. Not sure if it’s Iceland customs but the room had no soap or shampoo, just hand soap. "This place is BRAND NEW! GREAT way to spend a night. It's like the world's best modular container home. We arrived late (10pm) and were able to get into our "home" using the code on the door. Very straight forward. What I did not appreciate was the laundry list of what we had to do: make our own bed at 10 pm, next day put away the bed (it's a couch) and take trash out, start dishwasher, etc etc etc. I am on vacation, I can do chores back home. "Very unresponsive. Tried to call them and message them almost 50 times to change checkin date. Expedia was unsuccessful in contacting them. Finally when they answered they said they will not change the date."
