「We stayed in ZUG had lot of expectations but horrible left mid night too much dust and lizards in bathroom and bath tub Checked in around 6PM and left around 11:30PM after seeing lizard in toilet and lizard droppings in tub not worth the price at all completely disappointed and had to drive back home Same night.」

「Breakfast was a family setting with all other guests. When they say breakfast is at 9 am- they mean it. Don't be late! Fun to see the chickens and goats in this rural setting. Expect uber rustic accommodations. Jenny and Doug are super friendly. A real plus was that it was only a couple miles from Luckenbach . One unpleasant thing was that the room smelled rather musty and was very humid even with the air conditioning. 」

「It's quiet and let me feel chill. You can see sunset just in the house. The owner is so kind and the room is so clean. They offer drinks and cookies and also has wifi. It' s so great to stay here, just sitting outside with books, beverage and perfect scenery. The breakfast, including waffle, bacon and strawberry romanoff, are also very delicious. All exceed our expections！！」

「The mother was helpful when the code to enter the room wasn't working. I tried calling but didn't get an answer so I sent a message on the website and finally received a response 1hr 15mins later but the mother helped us.」

「They sold the place in May and didn’t tell us until the day of arrival. Still waiting on the refund. We were looking forward to staying there too」

「The Smith’s were the perfect hostess. The place is beautiful and full of great amenities and landscaping to take you to a great relaxing time. The town is only a few miles with great restaurants and stores. Steve and Belinda treat us like family with delicious home cook breakfast served at the big covered porch with in company of the other guests.」

「Not a fan, wouldn't stay again. Stayed in the Alden Haus, suite 2. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bring a fan or something for sound because it is eerily quite at night plus you can hear the people in the other room (we could even hear them use the bathroom). They need better curtains, if your light is on when it's dark congrats everyone can see clear into your room! Hot tub area needs to be cleaned, I get it's an closed in area outside but it wouldn't hurt to dust or sweep it out...
