I always book the Blackrock for work and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and housekeeping do a great job of maintaining the rooms. The laundry area is great to have on hand as well.

The property is showing ware and tear. But it was definitely 5 times more quite than any room I had in Vancouver, Calgary or Kamloops Canada.

Cleaning needs attention, bathroom particularly. Coffee mug was stained and there's no brush or dishcloth to clean up in the kitchenette. Tiny 32" TV on the huge wall opposite the bed, should be at least 40" to be seen at that distance.. The receptionist was friendly and helpful on check-in. I paid on check-in with a different card to the one I used to confirm the booking and an attempt was made 1.5 hrs later to charge my card that was used to confirm the booking, even though the account was paid in full??

We had an excellent stay at Black Rock Inn. The staff was super friendly, very warm welcome 😊. The size of the 2 bedroom appartement was bigger than expected. It was clean and tidy. Excellent location to visit Blackdown Tablelands, which was beautiful.

Meal was fantastic. Rooms are tidy. Main issue is rooms aren’t sound proof and also only has blinds so room full of light at night. Hear trains all night, shift workers talking and stomping on flor above and cars and trucks start about 3:30am. Really hard to sleep if shift worker.

Tidy complex, centrally located, large clean room.

The Black Rock Inn was very easy to find. It’s a large complex with plenty of onsite parking. Our room was large and clean. We had a good size fridge which was appreciated, as well as a kitchen sink and microwave. We had a small balcony, nice to sit out on in the evening. The motel manager was very friendly and accommodating. We used the onsite restaurant one night of our stay - great food and service.

The room was good but the Ac was off in the room and with the ridiculously hot weather the room took 2 hrs to cool down and the bed was that hot it was uncomfortable.

arrived & waited at reception for a good five minutes (which was ok) Went into room facilities were ok, couch was badly worn, & bed was comfortable When we returned from the pub no lights were on so we were walking in pitch black darkness, which is disappointing as there should be lights in the car parking area

Unfortunately since I last stayed here the service & the quality has fallen away We first arrived & reception was closed (1345), when we returned at (1400) there were two dogs in the reception area and a bad odour in the area Rooms were clean & aircon on when I got into my room (which was a relief from the heat) We took customers out for dinner at 1830 & waited a little while to be served drinks, restaurant was not even half full, food was average (we have eaten here before & the food was excellent) Walking back to the rooms from the restaurant lights were turned off in the car park area so we were walking back in complex darkness with phones as the only light In the morning I opened up my curtains to overgrown weeds & unkept garden areas Probably won’t be staying here again which is unfortunate as this used to be a really good place to stay
