Disappointing stay

One of the two rooms had a really bad sewage smell,blinds in the same room was broken,not alot of storage for clothing. The other room had a broken drawer in the three drawers that were available bedding felt damp and the air after our first shower felt damp for the rest of our stay

ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO STAY IN BLACKPOOL

THIS WAS A LOVELY PLACE ADAM THE OWNER WAS VERY HELPFUL VERY CLEAN AND TIDY HE COULDENT DO ENOUGH FOR YOU BREAKFAST DELIVERED TO YOUR ROOM OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR THE PHOENIX I WOULD RECOMMENED IT TO ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS AT HOTEL .COMI WOULD CERTAINLY STAY THERE AGAIN HE EVEN GAVE ME AN UPGRADE TO ADOUBLE ROOM WITH A PRIVATE BATHROOM WHEN I BOOKED A SINGLE WITH A SHARED TOILET SUCH A LOVELY PLACE YOURS ROBERT FROM ROOM 1 THE SCOTSMAN

Comfy bed and pillows

The hotel check in was very speedy with the owner, we had arrived early and he let us check in before the checking in time as the room was ready. The room was a medium sized room and the bed was very comfy with crisp clean sheets and plump pillows. I did not know on booking that it was a continental breakfast but a voucher could be purchased for 3.50 to go to the local cafe and have a full fry up if you wanted, but there was plenty of choice on the continental. The only negative comment i can give is that people had not stuck to the no smoking rule which was clearly displayed and had been smoking in their rooms. On the plus side there was also free wifi
