「 The Lodge has had a major renovation so the material condition of the entire facility was like new. Off-season and mid-week, it was very quiet. Minimal staff was pleasant and efficient. Did not visit the casino. No dining facility in the Lodge. Convenient to restaurants.」

「The room was spotless and classy with some local chips and water in the rooms. Excellent for our small dog with amazing views and walking paths. I would also recommend a local breakfast spot Ames Street Cafe. We talked with another guest and we both enjoyed the home made local food. The rapids right next to the hotel was fantastic for wildlife and cool scenery. Short walk see the Elk River to flow into the east bay. It would be a great opportunity for a summer stay if you can get a boat slip....

「Absolute best staff! Heat did not work properly in our room -reported it in our 2nd day and maintenance came immediately to inspect. When they were not able to repair it, we were quickly moved to another room. The front desk staff even brought the new keys and a bell cart to us. Absolutely the best service I’ve ever had at an hotel. Nice touch with the coffee and hot beverage station available throughout the day. Enjoyed our first stay and can’t wait to visit again. 」
