"The Malt Store surpassed our expectations, the apartment was huge, absolutely spotless and extremely comfortable. Birr is a nice little town and we were very close to all amenities. The staff were very prompt and friendly in answering any correspondence regarding our stay. I would thoroughly recommend The Malt Store as accommodation if visiting this part of Ireland. "Lovely hotel with great amenities and lovely grounds. Room was great and a very generous breakfast served each day. The restaurant was a bit pricey however, food is delicious with good portions. Staff all very helpful. Will stay here again."

"The newly renovated Abbey Court rooms are sparkling, lovely and incredibly quiet and peacefull. The one draw back is that there are quite a few small flights of steps all over the place. The dungeon bar has excellent food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is great. I did not try the library bar but the room is beautiful.. The building itself is spectatuclar."
