Staff were lovely, restaurant was fabulous.
Room was clean and very large but is very tired especially bathroom! However my understanding is that the hotel is undergoing a renovation and when this is completed it will be fantastic
The room was lovely well decorated and clean. I was worried after reading some of the reviews but found absolutely nothing wrong. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in room 245.
The garden area was quiet, well decorated and well maintainrd.
Bar and dining area were excellent and the staff were all lovely.

Property is in poor condition and we asked to be moved as the bathroom had mould on the ceiling, the bathroom door had come away from the frame, the mattress was saggy, the bedroom door key locking system across the hotel failed so we couldn't get into our room and the internet kept dropping out. We tried four different rooms. However, the staff were brilliant and tried to sort everything out for us but overall, the property is in dire need of refurbishment which is currently taking place
Although some of the bedrooms are a bit dated, the bars and restaurant are good. The food we had was excellent especially steak and peppercorn sauce. I believe thatvthere are different grades of rooms at different prices and we only paid the base price. Parking is a bit steep at £10 though
A couple of the lights flickered in the room and there was an extremely loud fire door right outside my room, but it was cheap and good value for money.
We had a new renovated bedroom, which was nice and big and spacious. The bed could’ve been a bit bigger but overall comfortable night.

After a really bad start and 3 attempts I managed to get the room that I had booked.
The room was a newly Renovated room.
Clean neat and very tidy could still smell the new paint.
The staff were very helpful.

Staff are so lovely, renovated rooms are decent quality as ive stayed before, but the old room i had and some of the other guests at the hotel agreed they were not livable, i had sticky stains on the floors and mold in the bin which i asked to be replaced but it wasnt. Others reported to me the same and bugs in the bed. Food was good at the hotel but i do believe that the old rooms shouldnt be available for stay.
Reception area is clean and staff are polite, bar is also good.
The room I was in was dated, had mold in the bathroom and some kind of sticky goo running down the door.
My stay was good, staff were friendly, room was clean, restaurant food was good and the gardens were well kept. Good value for an overnight stay for visiting UKGE at the NEC.

Liked - large room, large bed, helpful staff, not too busy.
Didn't like - constant noise of generator in my room (217), shower difficult to understand how to operate, no sockets available bedside, no light above desk, lock didn't always work first time from outside.

Arrived in heavy rain and chaos with my car key battery flat and without a physical credit card.
The receptionist was patient and accommodating while I worked at getting my act together.
Very convenient for the National Motorcycle Museum - I will stay at this hotel again.
Interesting history behind the hotel.

Receptionist was lacking in any happiness to help. We were given lesser spec rooms than we had reserved online. View over rubbish stack out of window. Excessive noise at 1100 night and 400 in morning. My tea coffee sugar jar was half empty. Other than that it was amazingly good.
