Worst experience ever. Arrived at the booking and found no key in the key-box. I contacted the Host and there was no response (i spoke to the Host 1 day before arriving) - sent to voicemail; I was stranded. I rang the apartment buzzer and found someone inside. This person told me they have took over the property from the Host and was unaware of my booking. We were 'invited' up to 'have a look' at the apartment and made to 'decide' whether or not we wanted to stay. After the commotion, the 'new' Host left and we stayed, because we needed to. The property, as of our stay, was dirty and things broken (taps, tables, couch, flooring). After the booking the 'old' Host sent me a text message apologising and mentioning i should have called, which i did lol. The whole stay was sketchy and I would advise everyone to stay away. Something dodgy is going on, and the area is trash - literal trash on the ground everywhere.

The location was a pretty dark and dingy back street which felt unsafe to park. The flat itself was well furnished and finished but not particularly clean. Found hairs in the bed, stains in the towel and a razor in bathroom. Felt like someone was living there and just made it available for the night. I didn’t stay and found alternative accomodation.

Perfect Apartment! Highly Recommended!

Great communication and quick replies, all the relevant details were sent through with photos of how to access the apartment. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need in it. Comfortable sofa and bed, all seemed very new and well looked after, it was perfect! Nice and quiet and we had great nights sleep, we stayed 2 nights and it was perfect! We highly recommended this apartment and would stay again! Thanks so much!

GREAT place inside, city streets not so much

Great communication with host in advance of our arrival. Nicely appointed apartment with all amenities. Parking difficult to find in the area during the day, although it is free. Easy walk to the Jewelry Quarter and breweries / pubs and there is an Aldi very close by; Tesco is a short drive away. I don’t think i would walk around at night, although there is a police station down the street. Maybe not dangerous per se, but the streets aren't very clean. Our host was very welcoming and it is a very lovely apartment.
