"Don’t expect to be able to get any food if you haven’t pre booked it. We travelled from the uk and after a long journey wanted some food and a glass of fizz. Only to be told that wasn’t possible. But a local bar shut in one hour so we needed to be quick. For a place that cost over 330 pounds a night I’d expect a little bit more service. The grounds and the place are beautiful but being able to get basic food and drink has always been staple in France so was very disappointing we couldn’t get...

"Great aparthotel in Chartres, easy to find, underground car park reserved ahead of time. Lovely sized room, comfy bed, clean linen, great facilities with fridge (with freezer bit) sink, hob, microwave and crockery/cutlery, even a cloth/tea towel/washing up liquid provided. Short walk into the town centre with many options for dining, boulangerie round the corner. Fantastic light show at the Cathedral after dark! Would definitely recommend to others. Polite and friendly staff on the reception...
