「Exceptional is probably the word I’m looking for (I’m honestly surprised it’s not rated 5x). A beautiful boutique hotel — much prettier and posher than the photos suggest. The pictures don’t do it justice. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are cosy and thoughtfully designed, and the gardens and pool are simply stunning. Breakfast is superb — generous, high-quality, and beautifully presented. Honestly, I’m struggling to find a single fault. 」

「Incroyable endroit. Magnifique maison, tout est décoré avec goût dans les moindres détails. On peut profiter de l’extérieur, piscine , terrasse , ping pong et cabane suspendue dans les arbres … Magnifique petit déjeuner . Nous n’y avons passé qu’une nuit mais j’aurai aimé y rester. Parfait emplacement pour être tôt sur le site de Lascaux et plein de restaurants à quelques minutes en voiture. Vraiment un endroit où j’aimerais revenir 」

「This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! We had a room refresh in our extended. Stay in the cleaners. Did a great job. We also extended our stay last minute and they were able to rearrange rooms so we didn’t have to move.
